Unlock Your Potential: Success is Attainable for Anyone Willing to Work Hard and Persevere
You Need To Believe That Success Is Possible For YOU
It’s not just limited to a select group of lucky people. If you put in hard work and perseverance, you will succeed.
Luck or circumstances may sometimes determine success. But, ultimately it is determined by your own drive, passion, and dedication to reaching your goals.
We all have unique talents, skills, and potential which can be harnessed and developed towards reaching the success we want.
You may have to go outside your comfort zone. That means taking risks and accepting failure as an invaluable opportunity for growth.
What Happened In The Past Doesn’t Matter
Dwelling on past events and mistakes will keep you from moving forward and focusing on what you need to do now.
Every day will present new opportunities and challenges. By letting go of the past, you will open yourself to greater growth and happiness.
Yes, you should learn from your past mistakes. But, it’s also important to not let those mistakes define or dictate your future.
It’s Not Necessary To Be An Industry Leader To Succeed
While being an expert has its advantages, it’s not the only thing that determines success. What really matters is being able to adapt, learn, and grow.
When you don’t limit yourself and put in the necessary effort, you will achieve your goals. You don’t need to have experience or be knowledgeable about your chosen path when you start.
This can come over time if you are willing to constantly improve yourself and your skills. It takes a combination of passion, dedication, and a willingness to learn, that will help you overcome obstacles and get the success you want.
Your Mind Will Tell You It’s Very Complicated…Don’t Believe It
Sometimes things seem harder because we are afraid, lazy, or overwhelmed. When faced with a new task it’s easy to feel it’s more trouble than it’s worth.
This keeps you from taking the next step and you find your progress frozen. The mind thinks it’s protecting you from potential failures or uncertainties. But, failure is part of the path to success.
You must be willing to fail. Every successful person had failure. Usually many of them. Your mind is what’s holding you back. Your mind is a tool that you must control. Don’t let it control you!
Become a person of massive action
Becoming a person of massive action is the key to achieving extraordinary results in life. It requires a mindset of relentless determination, unwavering focus, and an insatiable hunger for success.
Those who embody this attribute understand that action is the catalyst that propels them forward towards their goals. They do not wait for the perfect moment or rely on luck; instead, they take bold and decisive steps, pushing through any obstacles that come their way.
They understand that failure is just a stepping stone to success and use setbacks as opportunities to learn and grow. By embracing massive action, individuals tap into their full potential, surpassing their own expectations and leaving a lasting impact on the world.
Understand that working hard isn’t the only key to success
Throwing yourself into hard work without a plan can lead to burnout. It’s a waste of energy. You need to work smart, embrace a growth mindset, and seek opportunities.
It’s crucial to build effective strategies to overcome challenges and reach your goals.
Success isn’t just about hard work. Personal and professional growth are integrated into it as a result of a comprehensive approach.
Be patient and you will succeed
Success doesn’t happen quickly; it comes from working hard and being patient. It requires dedication, perseverance, and a belief in oneself. Those who have learned patience have achieved many great things.
When facing problems, it’s crucial to remain calm and have faith that things will get better. Being patient helps us stay focused on our goals. It also helps us learn from our mistakes and adapt to new circumstances.
So, be patient and have faith in your abilities, for success is just around the corner.

Thanks Michael
You’re welcome, Ron. I do this to encourage myself, too. We all need a little help, empathy and love from time to time. No one succeeds alone.
Patient is a virtual that is acquired through experience. Great blog ! Since 2017 a vendor of safety technology
Hey Ralph, good to hear from you. I’ve never been know as a patient person 🙂 However, if you put enough effort out there, the results will come. Just be patient. We all know in our hearts if we are doing everything we can.
Sounds like this message was written specifically for me, even though I know it wasn’t. I’m just having some financial problems at the moment, nothing really major, but when my Mom died I could no longer keep the house, it was in older sister’s trust, she wanted to sell and I had to move, end of story. So, I had to put everything on pause while I reconfigure my finances and get back on track. Meanwhile, car is acting up and I just started getting signing assignments for my mobile notary business. I’ve been praying and meditating daily for answers and then I decided to just surrender and give it to God. I was just about to throw in the towel and then I saw this email from you. Thank you for reminding me that we are the creators of our reality and that nothing is impossible. This morning I woke and heard “be quiet, be still” in my head. This email was confirmation that I need to settle down and be patient with this process. Everything will work itself out. Thank you for the encouragement.
I’m glad the timing was good for you, Alethia. I’m available if you ever need help, or a pep talk 🙂
Absolutely inspiring! This article serves as a timely reminder that with dedication and persistence, we can indeed achieve our dreams. It’s empowering to know that success is within reach for all of us, as long as we’re willing to put in the effort. Thanks for sharing this uplifting message!
Rob, I wish more dealers were doing the work you are. Warren Buffet said, “The best investment you can make, is an investment in yourself. The more you learn, the more you’ll earn!”
Thanks for the pep talk. Over the years, my setbacks have taught me what not to do again, and successes taught what to keep doing. I never give up, I never quit, and I know that I can always do better. Thanks for the encouragement, the push and the support.
Thanks for the inspiring words. I’ll be writing them down in my journal. Sincerely, Javier “Javie” Rodriguez
Yes, write them down, Javie, but use them…everyday.
Thanks for sharing insights and reminding us to NEVER GIVE UP!
Thank you, Gerald, for never giving up!
Thank you for this Beautiful passage..We all need a reminder that we can make it .I always tell individuals to try “IT” if they have “IT” in their Heart and on their Mind .This was definitely for me .I’m just trying to leave a legacy for my children and I’m willing to work smart and a little hard lol while doing so .Thank you very much .Stay safe
Thank you for the kind words, Robin.
I’m not a believer in coincidences, I believe things happen for a reason. I was just ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work. Your words gave me that little extra motivation. We are all blessed to have you and your staff as our partner.
Thank you
Francis, let us know if you need any help.
Luckily I saw your message before in between customers
I am set up at the Covered Bridge Festival (14 ten hr. days.) Always enjoy your motivating words.
And I enjoy your orders, John 🙂
Michael, thanks for staying in touch. I have been diligently working on my own site. I have “optimized” my product category pages and posted over 20 blog articles now. I am now optimizing each of my specific product pages. Trying to do about 5-6 each day. Still a ways to go to get them all done but I make sure to do at least a few almost every day. And I am seeing some encouraging results for my pages now when typing the URL slug into both Google search and Bing search. Also getting high AIOSEO scores for both the pages and the blogs. So hopefully you can see the results for yourself now. Hopefully the sales will soon follow.
Mike, I have no doubt about your success, because you keep grinding away.
Great motivation. I also used your advice on reading information on the books from Dan Kennedy. I m on his email list, I have Sales letters, The Ultimate Business Plan and the great book from Napoleon Hill, The Laws od Success.
I’ve been working on goals.
I’m focusing on building my pepper spray delivery routes of which I have 34 retail store purchasing pepper spray displays.
I have one of your websites and now need to improve my SEO rankings.
I would like to know how the post was established.
thank you fr all you do.
Ed, I find you motivational building your business again after being down for so long. I need you to teach other dealers how to set up a route of stores that keep reordering. It’s a great business model.
Michael,
Thanks- that is a great boost- I really need help with SEO.
Claude, you need to embrace AI and start creating long blog posts. I will be doing a tutorial on what I do and the tools that I use.
Great message. And eternal words of wisdom.
Nice article and looks great! Thank you for all the help over the years!
Thank YOU, Zeb!
Michael, I sale mainly face smile. I have a website that you built for me but I needed help in getting online sales and Google rankings.
Eddie, we are always here to help, but you need to ask if you need help. We’re not mind readers. I send out things to do and don’t know if they are being done are not. If I ever send something to you and you don’t understand it, ASK! Believe me, I want you to make sales. But, I shouldn’t want it more than you 🙂
Thanks for the positive message
Hi Michael,
Thanks for the email and the link, I agree… I myself, can be the biggest obstacle to overcome. It does get hectic and a little stressful, below is a little synopsis of what I’ve been up to.
I am by myself working this business, I go to gun shows and demo all the products I can. I noticed that up here in Washington, there was a run on firearms, so I have added those to my repertoire. Our focus is home and personal defense. So we started sellng handguns and a type of shotgun that carries a magazine, that holds 5-10 shells. This strategy was great until the State of Washington added bans on assault weapons in March/April timeframe, our popular shotgun fell under the assault ban RCW, even though it’s not an assault gun…arggg… but I’m still going to try and sell them until Jan. 1, 2024, when Washington State implememts their own form of 4473.
I have also found after talking to hundreds of people, at the shows, they prefer self defense at a distance if possible, and when needed for the ladies, they want something just to get to their car safely, stun guns with a flashlight are their favorites. Most people don’t want to conceal carry, they don’t want to shoot and hurt/possibly kill a person, they would prefer something like a pepperball shooter within a reasonable price range. So far, what I’ve seen, they cost as much as a handgun.
So I am still selling both…I put a business card in every box I sell, which has my website. I know at Christmas time, customers like to buy for their loved ones and will purchase multiple stun guns or pepper sprays for stockings. I’ve also found that the customers that look on my website, call me directly and will either want to come to my house, meet up at the gun shows, or I suspect they go to Amazon and buy. Since I don’t have a brick and mortar, I discourage people from coming to my house, since we have firearms too, thieves love to case places before hand, if they know there are firearms there.
I am finding it difficult for me, to find time to manage the website, with everything that I have going on at this moment… I would love to hire a part time person that is savvy at Social Media and Websites, if Social Media sites would let me post products on there to sell? So far, I keep getting blocked. I have other product favorites that I would like to put up on my site, but that involves, gathering pictures, adding descriptions…and learning how to upload that particular product….not going to happen here…unfortunately.
I believe Amazon is a monopoly, I used to sell there, until they started banning products and then selling my fast selling products themselves. I hope they get fined, broken up and removed from monopolizing products that resellers are trying to sell. I’m pretty sure, they’re taking a big chunk of our business away from us. They should instead be adding links to our sites, vs. discovering that one of our products is flying off the shelf, going to the distributor and bogarting the product. Or at least that’s how it used to be.
So, even though I may not respond to your emails, I am still working hard and planning on where to go next to sell. The gun shows are like pop-ups, people enjoy going to those and the table rent is reasonable.
If you have any other types of events that you could recommend, I am all ears.
Also, I call myself a reseller of self defense products, I have been wondering if there is a market for distributing self defense products, while not competing by them selling too?? Any local shops that would consider wanting to buy a some type of package, from me, to test the water and I still make money?? I’m concerned that they might go directly to Safety Technology, vs. buy from me as a distributor?? Thoughts on this??
Best Regards,
Connie Sheldon
Connie, the best way to sell these products without competition is at home parties.
Michael you are an inspiration. Was the content all human or was AI used to assist? I loved the graphics. I am going to learn how to incorporate graphics along with AI assisted content to my website blog. Being present in the moment is hard to accomplish, although with patience it can be acheived. I know this would help me take my business to a higher level. Like you mentioned not everyone will read your posts. just know some of us do and appreciate them.
Franci, I came up with the title and subheads and then I had AI help me write the content. It’s a game changer.
Michael,
Thank you for the great blog post. I am always interested in improving my website. Most of our sales are face to face. I appreciate your willingness to help us as dealer.
Michael, forgot to mention in the previous reply that I am using AI to create content for blog articles and product category descriptions. I ask it to create headings too. And you can even tell it to write the article in a particular style like informative or first person or both or etc. But I do review the content and “tweak” it just a bit to make sure it’s accurate and relevant to the product and/or the topic. And just to make sure the grammar and spelling is all correct. I actually like the free Elementor AI tool you have provided us with. I feel like it produces some really good content!
Greetings Michael,
I really appreciate the effort you guys put forth to help dealers become successful, and of course you are the engine that makes everything go, and that’s the reason I really want to do this.
What’s been the cause of my delay is I am an ideas guy, and when something pops in my head that makes sense I’ll go for it and I have and not always successfully, and just dealing with life issues.
I see you guys have added a few wrinkles (football lingo) to your mix of marketing tools and operations (ai) so count me in. Thanks
Michael, Thanks for the kind words, I sure needed this.
